Devo\u00e7\u00e3o glows in the dark: a fresh take on spiritual jazz built on modal structures, pulsating syncopation, Punk-Gnawa-inspired basslines, and dazzling horn improvisations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"statement\">&#8220;The Portuguese band takes some scintillating turns through modal jazz with spiritual undertones.
